Deep Water Running Clinic

Join us for a superb cross training session to help improve your running, swimming, and/or biking skills.

Deep water running...

  • is a great way to work on form, prevent injury or rehab during injury, and get in "miles" without pounding joints.
  • offers gentle resistance, so you get a fantastic strength and cardio component concurrently.
  • is used for off-season conditioning to build a base.

The clinic includes circuit training: swim & strength variations. However, participants have the option to continue water running during the swim and circuit drills portion of the workout.

We are huge proponents of deep water running and have successfully employed this training technique while preparing for several Triathlon and Duathlon World Championships. We've used this technique with several clients, with great results. Top Professional runners and triathletes use deep water running as a training adjunct year-round.

Testimonials

"Thank you both so much for an awesome clinic. I was so happy to finally learn the proper way to deep water run, thank you. It has been a very frustrating 5-6 months, to learn this technique properly, means more confidence. I have been able to get a good few times in since our class, and hope to become more frequent. Thank you so much for your insight and suggestions...really thank you so much."
— Trinnell Scott

"Just wanted to thank you for the two great classes you put together. Not only were they informative, they were downright entertaining!"
— Jan Goss

"I really enjoyed this class and it was very helpful. I was very excited after and overwhelmed with excitement on my accomplishment of being comfortable in the water (especially not knowing how to swim)."
— Veta McCoy

"You both did a great job on the clinic last weekend, and although it may have seemed like I didn't get much out of it - that is not true at all. I felt so good, refreshed, and stronger a short while after getting out of the pool. The next day when I went for a run, I used the exact arm technique, and it propelled me faster, and helped keep my sometimes pigeon-toes straighter. I paid attention to my legs - and now understand better how I should have been running in the water. Thanks for your patience."
